El Mirage / Your care questions

# What supports these answers? Match the source to the claim.

A source is the record behind an answer. Start by asking what kind of record it is and what question it can answer.

Keep the product name, the stated use and the date beside the claim you are checking.

## Read evidence with these questions

-

### Is the record about approval?

FDA, the US medicine review agency, keeps approval records. An ingredient name or a number on FDA’s drug list does not show approval.

Ask the clinician or pharmacist to match the medicine offered to the finished product in the approval record.

-

### Is it a law or advice?

A national group of state offices that oversee doctors offers advice about remote care. States can use it when writing rules; it is not law itself.

For Arizona MDs, an appropriate examination or an existing care relationship is required, with specific exceptions.

Use the Arizona MD examination rule linked below with the clinician. Ask which rule covers the visit and how the planned examination meets it.

-

### Is it a report of a problem?

FDA says submitting a report about a problem is not proof that the medicine caused that event.

Reports alone cannot be used to estimate how often the problem occurs.

-

### Is it about this exact product?

Ask whether a claimed result concerns the finished medicine being offered. Do not treat a shared ingredient name as the whole answer.

## What a letter can and cannot show

FDA publishes searchable letters about suspected violations.

A warning letter describes suspected problems when it was sent; further exchanges between the company and FDA may change the status of those problems.

Read its date and any later replies or FDA letters closing the matter. A company’s reply alone does not show that FDA considers the issue resolved.

If the current status is unclear, ask FDA rather than assuming the company fixed the problem.

The absence of a warning letter does not establish that a company meets the rules; FDA may not have reviewed it.

## Use the dates attached to changing answers

For federal medicine approval and compounding status, the check date is September 26, 2026.

Arizona’s remote-care rules were checked October 3, 2026; its phone-only definition was rechecked October 6, 2026.

Check the official record again when a date matters to your decision.

## A question to ask about a promised result

Who or what was studied, what was compared, and does that evidence concern the same medicine being offered to me?
